Tagliata di Pollo con Soia, Miele e Limone

This dish comes from the fact you often need to stay light, dispel feelings of guilt due to overeating or evenings with friends when you overdo it a bit ‘. Then what?? The chicken breast is really sad, but with this sauce you can not stop eating it…

INGREDIENTS (4 servings)

– 1 Breast of Chicken (700/800 gr.)
– Juice of 1 lemon and ½
– 5/6 tablespoons soy
– 2 tablespoons of acacia honey
– Olive oil
– Salt q.b.

DIRECTIONS

Place the chicken breast (after having deprived it of its central bones) to marinate with the lemon juice for a few hours in the fridge.

In a saucepan with some oil start to brown the chicken on both sides with salt (not too much just because of the soy sauce) and pour in the lemon marinade letting it cook for about 10 minutes.

Then pour half of soy, 1 tablespoon of honey and continue cooking over low heat with lid for 15 minutes.

Turn the chicken and pour the remaining soy, the remaining honey, put the lid again and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes (the chicken breasts that are thick put a little ‘to cook, and the white meat should be cooked well! )

After this time the chicken should be cooked (try with a knife to avoid risks) so we can remove the lid to finish cooking and thicken a bit ‘the sauce

Cut the chicken breast in diagonal stripes (like a cut of beef) and serve with the sauce on top, accompanied by the side dish you prefer.
